  1. I plan to query widely and work on a memoir. I'll need that extra day!

    1. Querying is so different now from what it was a couple decades ago (ah, technology!). Wishing you the best with your goals, Yvonne!

  2. I admit I am bad about pitching - that is an excellent goal for me too!

  3. That's a great goal, Yvonne. To meet my big 2020 goal, I need to write a mystery short story every week. Maybe I can use that extra day for submissions (one hour at a time). :D

  4. I am going to write a blog post daily, as a warm-up exercise.

  5. After finishing the third book in the Seasons Mystery Series, I'm going to concentrate on the follow-up to Evelyn Evolving : A Story of Real Life. It's about my mother from the time she was 4 years old until adulthood. I'm going to write my story, which will finish hers, as a number of people have asked me what happens next. Writing her story was easier compared to writing my own.

    1. So will you be working on an autobiography, Maryann, or is it something a little different? I sure admire folks who tackle writing about their own lives. I can't even keep a consistent journal...

  6. I am thinking about my own life, but just cannot bring myself to write about it so directly. I think I'll tackle it Cat By Cat. :D

  7. I'm making this the best writing year ever by turning what I'm doing into a business, and approaching every aspect strategically from a business-sense. Since I finished writing a book late last year, I'm going to be hitting the (school) year running with my first product of 2020 :-D Then I need to brainstorm and make the strategic decision as to what I should tackle next. Waaayy too many options, only me here to do the work.

    1. Too much to do and not enough time. I know the feeling, Elle! :-}

  8. I guess for my 2020 goal I'm going to write the 8th book in my series, BUT I'm going to try to keep a tight rein on this one.
    I also would like to write, say, three short stories. I have an idea for one I need to dive into.
    And then there's the cubicle job, which is also writing. How much longer am I going to keep doing this??? OK, that's more than I want to think about right now!

    1. Wow, eight already! I need to catch up with Inez and her adventures :-)

  9. I'm going to finish this damn book. I hope the world doesn't blow up because it's a political novel. I started it years ago, stopping because I thought things would change. They haven't enough to kill the story, but we live in dangerous times.

  10. I have no idea what the year holds or what I will do with it, but I need a push to nudge me out of inertia, so I made a list of potentials and stuck it on the fridge so I have to look at it every day. :)
