  5. Scott keeps reposting the same blog post that was rescheduled for next week. And is ignoring all emails and group messages from The Big Red Pencil. LOL. The repost has now streamed over to my Facebook page three times. Do you think he'll notice this - I just emailed all 15 of the group bloggers to stop by and leave a message. I'm having entirely too much fun!

  6. Scott, I say, grab your backpack and lunch and run to the playground. Have fun. You've been set free and the principal can't catch you.

  7. Scott, you bad boy. My original post (1st after you re-posted!) is not showing, so here goes:
Nice post and a good site also. Count me in for the Kindle.

  15. I hope you all come back sometime. Regge and I found what, I think, was to be his post today on his blog

Give it a try. I'm sure that any principal has his hands too full around this "parent/teacher conferences" time of year to bother calling Scott down today...on a Saturday! Come on! That phrase still puts the flop in the stomach, like seeing flashing lights behind you, what have I done now!

  21. What a hoot. I missed the fun all day. Not usually online much on the weekends. Noticed Scott has been absent, too.... Oh, that's right, he's at the principal's office.

  26. There's been a rescheduling, but everyone who commented here will be added for a separate giveaway--we'll just have to skip this stop as a Kindle giveaway because some comments have been lost and it's not fair to those people. Sorry for the confusion, though "Go to the principal's office" is a pretty good guest post!

  28. This post sounds like it's from an editor who takes one quick look at a client's manuscript and decides to save a whole lot of blood-red pencils.

  30. Maybe we should do something like this more often. It sure has generated a lot of comments and everyone - except the most confused - have seemed to get it.

  31. With his monumental blog schedule, I'm just surprised that he hasn't missed out before now. Enjoy your day off, Scott.

  33. Honestly, Scott, I don't think anyone ever gets this much attention at BRP. You should be sitting in the principal's office with a smug grin on your face. :)

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, this is certainly a different kind of post . . . I wonder what would happen if I did something similar on my blog? Would I get dozens of comments?

    Hummm, probably not.

  36. And truly, it was all unintentional and simply a last-ditch effort to get Scott's attention! The original post will reappear next week as part of our e-books special that will continue until the end of the month. I expect Scott will figure out how to get everyone's emails added to the drawings. Thanks for playing along, everyone!
