  2. Who ever my characters are, nice ones or not, it's me who comes through. I hope ONLY my closest friends recognize that, however.

    After reading my first novel, a dear friend said she'd found it hard to dissociate me from it, and that she felt she was reading my diaries. In fact, the whole story was fictional...except, perhaps, for some tiny snippets.

  3. My characters are nothing like me, instead I like to crawl inside of them and experience what they are experiencing, etc.
