My follow-up on the Writer's Block and Procrastination post: I finished that frontier fiction novel and it's now under contract with Five Star...and I have a solid first draft of a new mystery to revise and edit. I declare my method a success.

ReplyDeleteIt's called In Defense of Delia. The story is set in 1838 in Illinois (four years after Wishing Caswell Dead). Delia returns after 13 years on the run. She now has an outlaw's reputation and a gang of outlaws on her trail.
DeleteWriter's block takes a toll on productivity, no doubt about that. The suggestions for curing it piqued my interest, so I'll be checking them out to see which one(s) work for me. On another note, I'm looking forward to In Defense of Delia; if it's as good as Wishing Caswell Dead, it will be a winner.
