Okay, somebody else said it first, but the proper use of entitled or titled is another Pain in the English Language. One just has to do a Google search on the topic to find differing, and conflicting, opinions. Did you know that entitled was the preferred word until the 21st century? Books, plays, and music were entitled, not titled . According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary entitled means: to give a title to: designate to furnish with proper grounds for seeking or claiming something. (this ticket entitles the bearer to free admission.) The second definition is the one that most of us associate with the word, which is probably why many of us find the usage a bit awkward for naming something - my mystery is entitled Doubletake .
