You're stuck. You have a scene burning in your brain, but it comes later in the story? Write it. That scene is a bridge you’ll eventually cross. The story will grow into it.

Good idea. I've actually done this before.
ReplyDeleteI built a whole story around one of those scenes.
DeleteWriting a scene that you feel passionate about can end writer's block. Even if the scene doesn't belong in the current WIP.
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly happened to me. Every book, in fact. Just keep writing.
