Best yoga tip I practice is getting out of my chair for 15 minutes out of every hour. Writers sit too much! Thanks for the post, Elle. <3
ReplyDeleteI agree, Dani. If I sit too long, my ankles swell and my upper starts screaming at me; so getting up regularly is a must.
DeleteI fidget a lot. I'm just not a person who can sit still. Has its benefits, though. :-)
DeleteChair yoga took me from being unable to rise from the chair to full health during a remission. Try Peggy Cappy's Yoga for the Rest of Us. It is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI have most of her videos, Diana. They are very good.
DeleteThanks Elle for this post and thanks Diana for the recommendation.

DeleteI worked standing up for quite some time when my daughter was a baby and I had her strapped to me in a carrier.
DeleteHard to hear for me, so I watched her movements.
ReplyDeleteFriend said her doctor recommended a large bottle of water by her computer. Drinking it meant getting up out of the chair frequently. :-)
