Needless to say, I saw it just once (on television years ago). Pounding hearts and sleepless nights are not among my favorite things; however, I do admire authors whose stories evoke an emotional response in their readers. :-)Linda Lanenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704943052235281766.post-65921240971878652672016-10-11T18:38:11.472-06:002016-10-11T18:38:11.472-06:00If you like Peter Straub and Dean Koontz you would...If you like Peter Straub and Dean Koontz you would probably enjoy David Wellington - start with Monster Island.Elle Carter Nealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02266309723919011181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704943052235281766.post-31102157182549651002016-10-11T13:23:17.040-06:002016-10-11T13:23:17.040-06:00I'm not much of a horror reader, but I've ...I'm not much of a horror reader, but I've read a few of those you mentioned. My favorite was Rosemary's Baby. I don't like to be scared reading unless I know it's out of the realm of possibility. I never could read or watch The Shining because of Jack Nicholson's rabid face shot. So I'm a wuss. I admit it. I have enjoyed some of the other authors you mentioned as well, especially Stephen King. I also like Joe Landsdale.
