There's a strong history of Alzheimer's in my family so, of course, I wonder about it. Hope it's just old age. :-)Lillie Ammannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01851121176224654240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704943052235281766.post-41240008513422887772008-09-09T01:11:00.000-06:002008-09-09T01:11:00.000-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.ghostpostshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10688790361449954681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704943052235281766.post-5861388608500614292008-09-08T17:58:00.000-06:002008-09-08T17:58:00.000-06:00Dani, sounds more like typing faster than the brai...Dani, sounds more like typing faster than the brain is processing.

Good tips Susie. When I type, my brain is thinking of a certain word, but my fingers type a similar-sounding word. I usually catch it when I proof, but the crossed-wires kind of bother me. Hope it's not early-onset Alzheimers! That issue could probably result in a completely new post about the special proofreading needs of the elderly.

Good essay, Susie.

Dani
http://quickest.blogbooktourguide.ever.comDanihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14471919576687777886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5704943052235281766.post-89751029468233412722008-09-08T15:23:00.000-06:002008-09-08T15:23:00.000-06:00Great post! For example I am always spelling "their" "thier" even though I know it is wrong. Unless spellcheck catches it, which it doesn't in Dreamweaver, I often post a story on WinnsboroToday.com with the word spelled incorrectly. Thank goodness I have readers who are quick to point that out to me. :-)Maryannwriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09479027709233807149noreply@blogger.com
