A Picture is Worth Two Words - #NaNoWriMo Writing Prompt

NaNoWriMo Writing Prompt:

Write a story prompted by the photograph above, and these two words:

evacuate
quadruple

(If it's impossible to incorporate a bicycle into your NaNoWriMo project (for genre/historical/other reasons), find a random picture that will fit (or think up an alternative, appropriate mode of transport) and try and wrangle that and the two words into your story.)

  1. The characters in my NaNoWriMo novel are still riding horses or on horse-drawn wagons. But the prompt did get me thinking about why my town might be evacuated during the novel. :D

  2. At first glance I picture four people trying to evacuate on that bicycle. :) That would be quite the survival story with many settings to choose from this year.

    1. Ha, ha! (Now you have me picturing four acrobats, two of them upside down balancing on their hands on the others' shoulders.)
